Project of the Month... Tubularity

What is your favorite color? Don’t just pick one, but seven, and cast on Tubularity! One of Ann’s favorite designers, Martina Bhem, brings us this versatile wrap knit with the colors of your choice: vibrant, tonal or sophisticated. This piece, knit as a long tube, can be worn many ways: as a comfy neckwarmer, a shawl secured with a button, or as a cowl, with the ends tucked into the tube. Ann’s cowl is knit with Shibui Staccato and Madelinetosh’s sock yarn in seawash but the options are endless. Use our new colors of Koigu, Sweet Georgia, Anzula, or Misti Alpaca. The most difficult part of this project is selecting the colors! If you are not convinced to knit one yet, check out Martina’s video on how to wear Tubularity at vimeo.com/90629425.

CustomFit Workshop: Gauge Swatches and Measurements

Call the store for an appointment!
$10.00
In this hour-long workshop we will cover how to knit and measure a gauge swatch for the CustomFit program.  While you will knit your swatch just as you do for a conventional pattern, there are a few differences in its size and in how the swatch is measured.  The great thing is that this swatch is about the fabric you want to knit your sweater in, not how a standardized pattern is tells you how it should be knit.  We will also take your CustomFit measurements and enter them into the computer to be stored for you.

Finishing

$30/Session
Bring your project and together we will make sure it is beautifully seamed!

Private Lessons
