Mmmm Cashmere!

Well hi there yarn pals! What type of fiber is one of the best you could ever run through your fingers? Cashmere of course! This week we are featuring one of the finest cashmere’s out there, Joseph Galler’s Pashmina!!!

Pashmina is an extra fine, extra luxurious, sport weight 100% Cashmere that just begs to be touched! This fabulous French Cashmere is super, super soft and drapey....like buttah :) We are offering this wonderful Cashmere at a wonderful price! Only $45 per 50 grams which comes out to be about 170 yards. Joan made a lovely cowl out of one 50 gram ball. It’s called the Starfish Trail Cowl

What a perfect project for this yarn! It’s so soft and wonderful against your skin! Pattern comes free with purchase.

Did you know Joseph Galler Yarns has been a family run business for 3 generations!!! Thats amazing! They were also one of the first yarn companies in the U.S. to offer European handknitting yarns! They continue to offer us some of the most beautiful yarns you can sink your needles (or hooks) into!! One of our favorite yarns from Joseph Galler that we have carried for many years you might be familiar with... Prime Alpaca and Peruvian Tweed. That gorgeous, high quailty alpaca with the BIG generous skeins!!!

We just love their yarns! More to come from Joseph Galler!

This week we got in a brand new Laura Nelkin Kit!!! Yaaayy! Its a knitted, and beaded (of course!) 3 strand bracelet called “Mudra Cuff”.

Su cute! The kit comes with the yarn, clasp, beads, a bead threader, and instructions for only $17! Makes a great gift! Here’s a collection of her other kits we carry that just fly out the door!

Keep on making those kits Laura!! Everyone just loves ‘em!

Here’s a brand new issue of Piecework! It’s got a very interesting article on Indigo dyeing around the world. I really like this great picture inside of a Indigo dyer’s hands....

That’s all for this week. Short but sweet! Everyone have a marvelous weekend :)
